2011 Young Artist Competition Winner
Musaeus will perform Shostakovich’s moving String Quartet, dedicated to the victims of fascism and war, alongside the Haydn String Quartet. 2011 Young Artist Competition winner Matt Groenheide joins Musaeus for J.S. Bach’s Violin Concerto in A Minor, performed on the marimba. Fallen Peace for marimba and string quartet offers a reflective and adventurous tribute to modern war casualties.
