Musaeus String Quartet
Looking for that special something to make your event extraordinary? From weddings to receptions, dinners to dances, the professional musicians of the Musaeus string quartet will liven up your shindig with music to suit every taste, from Beatles to Mozart, Jimi Hendrix to Beethoven.
Founded in 1982, Musaeus String Quartet (MSQ) is one of Alberta’s most enduring and accomplished chamber ensembles. MSQ brings together the principal chairs of the Lethbridge Symphony: Airdrie Ignas, Alina Khvatova (violins), Gabe Kastelic (viola), and Mark Rodgers (cello). From classical repertoire to video game soundtracks, from children’s concerts to new commissions, these talented musicians showcase their artistry, energy, and love of music in every performance.
PLEASE NOTE: The quartet will take special requests for an additional fee. On occasion, personnel substitutions are made in order to accommodate a booking, so not all repertoire is always available.
For inquiries with Musaeus, please contact Gabe Kastelic at musaeus@lethbridgesymphony.org
